On November 3, 2003, three veterans and one civilian joined forces with a vision to build something special. Paul Dummitt, Johnny Eagle, Bud Baldwin, and Keith Loyd opened the doors of Paragon Printing in a small facility on Old Hixson Pike in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

To put 2003 into perspective, mobile phones were only beginning to become part of everyday life, and social media as we know it didn’t exist. There were no iPhones, Alexa, DoorDash, Uber, Hulu, Netflix Originals, or binge-watching an entire season over a weekend.

And Paragon looked a little different back then, too.

We started with one printer, three employees, and an old-fashioned hardwired telephone line. Our primary products were billboards, mesh, and banners. But from those modest beginnings came a company built on hard work, craftsmanship, relationships, and the determination to keep growing.
More than two decades later, Paragon Printing has grown by leaps and bounds.

Today, our facility encompasses more than 20,000 square feet, we employ more than a dozen talented team members, and our production capabilities include multiple grand-format printers, cutters, laminators, welders, and other specialized equipment. We still produce the billboards, mesh, and banners that helped build our company, but our capabilities have expanded to include adhesive vinyls, coroplast, foam board, aluminum composite, acrylic, fabrics, wall and window graphics, signs, displays, and much more.

Paragon has also become one of the region’s trusted resources for vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, and custom vehicle branding, helping businesses turn their cars, trucks, vans, trailers, and entire fleets into attention-getting advertising.

Over the years, Paragon has also experienced tremendous loss. Founders Bud Baldwin and Paul Dummitt passed away, and in 2026, we said goodbye to Johnny Eagle, one of the driving forces behind Paragon from its very beginning.

Their contributions are woven permanently into the fabric of this company.

Today, Keith Loyd...Johnny’s son and the last surviving founder of Paragon Printing...along with his wife, Susie, continues to lead the company forward. Together, they honor the vision and foundation established in 2003 while continuing to invest in new technology, expanded capabilities, exceptional service, and the talented people who make Paragon what it is today.

For Keith and Susie, growing Paragon is about more than building a successful business. It is about protecting the legacy Keith helped create alongside Johnny, Paul, and Bud, carrying their shared values forward, and ensuring that Paragon Printing remains strong for generations to come.

Through every change, one thing has remained constant: our gratitude for the customers, businesses, organizations, and community partners who have trusted us with their brands and supported Paragon Printing for more than two decades.
